As a Chemical Engineer at our Secunda facility, you will play a vital role in improving production processes, conducting research and development, and driving initiatives focused on sustainability. Your insights will enhance the quality of our products and help in reducing environmental impacts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and recommend improvements to production protocols.
• Conduct root cause analysis on process failures.
• Assist in the development of new chemical products.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation.
• Facilitate communication across departments to support project goals.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in the chemical industry

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with process simulation software: Familiarity with software such as Aspen Plus or HYSYS.
