Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an Environmental Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on sustainability and environmental conservation, helping to assess and mitigate the impacts of engineering projects on the environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate environmental studies and surveys on project sites.
• Develop and review environmental management plans.
• Participate in community engagement and outreach initiatives.
• Analyze environmental data and report findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years in a similar role, focusing on environmental impact assessments

Technical Skills

• GIS Software
• Environmental Monitoring Tools

• Team Leadership
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Renewable Energy Solutions: Familiarity with renewable energy practices and implementation.
