Pharmacist

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and effective medication use through patient education.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff as required.
• Perform medication therapy management for patients.
• Assist in the development of patient care programs.
• Monitor for drug interactions and contraindications.
• Provide drug utilization reviews and make recommendations.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on new pharmacy practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences

Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a pharmacist in a retail or clinical setting

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist (SAPC)
