Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a knack for problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Resolve technical support requests with a focus on customer service.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and updates on all IT systems.
• Document technical issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Train staff to use new software and technologies effectively.
• Participate in IT projects and assist in system upgrades.
• Support the team's efforts during critical system outages or failures.
• Ensure timely escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate level.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in an IT support or help desk role

• Windows Server

• ITIL Foundation
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
