Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Medical Doctor who will provide high-quality care to our patients. You will be responsible for assessing patients' health, diagnosing illnesses, and administering treatments while fostering strong relationships within our healthcare team and community.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Manage acute and chronic diseases while coordinating comprehensive care.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation of patient interactions.
• Engage in patient education regarding lifestyle modifications and prevention strategies.
• Assist in surgeries and medical procedures as necessary.
• Facilitate referrals to specialists and allied health services.
• Play an active role in staff training and development.
• Participate in research and clinical trials if applicable.

Requirements

Education

• Medical License and registration in South Africa
• Specialization in General Practice or relevant field preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role preferred

• Emergency Response

Certifications

• Basic Life Support certification
• Certified in Family Medicine (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
