The Cracking Still Operator is critical in overseeing the operation and maintenance of distillation equipment. This role requires strict adherence to safety standards and quality control processes to guarantee the final product's integrity.
Responsibilities
Manage the distillation process to produce high-quality chemical products.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on distillation equipment.
Record process parameters and adjust settings as necessary.
Support the implementation of safety and operational procedures.
Assist in the training of new operators on equipment use and safety practices.
Report any malfunctions or abnormalities to the Operations Manager.
Engage in process optimization initiatives to enhance yield and efficiency.
Requirements
Education
Technical diploma in Chemical Engineering or a related field
Experience
3-5 years in a chemical or refining process operation.
