We are on the lookout for an Environmental Engineer to join our team in Durban. This role involves assessing environmental policies, conducting impact assessments, and developing strategies to ensure compliance and sustainability.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and report on the environmental effects of construction projects.
Conduct research into environmental best practices and innovative solutions.
Facilitate training and workshops for staff on sustainability.
Assist in the preparation of grant applications for environmental initiatives.
Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
Manage project budgets related to environmental initiatives.
Engage with clients to understand project requirements and ensure satisfaction.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is a plus
Experience
5+ years of experience in environmental consultancy or related field
