Job Description

We are searching for a dedicated Special Needs Program Manager to lead our initiatives in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and supervising programs that cater to children with diverse learning needs. This position requires strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and community partners.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead programs aimed at supporting children with diverse learning styles.
  • Communicate effectively with families and teachers about student needs.
  • Implement training for teachers on special needs strategies and techniques.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Evaluate the adequacy of resources and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor student progress through assessments and adapt programs as needed.
  • Provide guidance and support to special education staff in their daily activities.
  • Promote a culture of inclusion and respect within the educational framework.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on special education trends.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or Social Work
  • Master's degree in Special Education is an advantage
