Industrial Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Industrial Engineer to enhance our production processes and promote operational excellence in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in process improvement, efficiency strategies, and data analysis to our team, ensuring high-quality manufacturing outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives for lean manufacturing and operational excellence.
• Analyze production schedules and capacity to optimize resource allocation.
• Develop risk assessments and mitigation strategies for production processes.
• Collaborate with R&D to integrate new technologies into existing operations.
• Identify waste reduction opportunities during manufacturing processes.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes.
• Communicate findings and strategies to management and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting
