Job Description

As a Structural Engineer based in Durban, you will play a pivotal role in designing and overseeing structural projects from inception to completion. Your expertise will ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, contributing to successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering projects from initial design through to completion.
  • Perform structural assessments for compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Implement best practices in sustainable design and construction.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation to track progress and changes.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to resolve technical issues on-site.
  • Facilitate project meetings to discuss updates and coordinate activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering
