As a Veterinarian at our Pietermaritzburg practice, you will be key in providing high-quality care to animals. Your duties will include examinations, surgeries, diagnostics, and preventative care. Ideal candidates will possess a strong veterinary background and a genuine love for animals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health examinations for animals.
• Formulate treatment plans based on diagnosis.
• Implement health and safety procedures.
• Engage in client consultations and follow-ups.
• Keep detailed and precise medical documentation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in the practice.
• Monitor and evaluate the health of patients post-treatment.
• Encourage community awareness about animal health.
• Partake in team meetings to discuss patient care.
• Maintain a high standard of care and client satisfaction.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Postgraduate qualifications in veterinary surgery or internal medicine is advantageous

Experience

• At least 3 years of practice in a veterinary clinic

Certifications
