Job Description

We are looking for a Structural Engineer to oversee critical engineering projects in the Cape Town area. Your role will encompass the analysis, design and assessment of various structural elements. You will work in a team-oriented environment and contribute to the design of buildings and other facilities to meet client specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the structural design process, ensuring accurate calculations and adherence to standards.
  • Engage with clients to clarify project objectives and specifications.
  • Research and apply sustainable materials and methods to enhance project outcomes.
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project budgets.
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry trends and techniques.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering is a plus
Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in structural design and engineering
