Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed health assessments of animals in care.
  • Handle emergency cases with effective decision-making.
  • Implement preventive care measures for pet populations.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary veterinary team.
  • Educate clients on preventive health measures and pet behavior.
  • Participate in clinical research and trials as appropriate.
  • Assist in training new staff members.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners about treatment options.
  • Ensure compliance with all veterinary laws and regulations.
  • Foster a positive clinic environment for animals and staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  • Additional certification in a veterinary specialty is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting
