Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our Cape Town team. You will specialize in medication management, address patient inquiries, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and maintaining high standards in pharmacy practice.

Responsibilities

• Ensure exact labeling and instructions for dispensed medications.
• Conduct thorough medication reconciliations during patient transitions.
• Promote safe medication practices and educate patients on potential risks.
• Develop and implement protocols for high-risk medication management.
• Assist in formulating and reviewing pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Provide evidence-based drug information to healthcare professionals.
• Contribute to the pharmacy's budget and stock management.
• Evaluate and implement new pharmaceutical products for the pharmacy.
• Manage pharmacy services effectively to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote health education.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in clinical pharmacy practice

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
