Join our team as an Architect, where your main focus will be on designing modern and environmentally friendly structures. Bring your expertise in creating architectural plans, models, and presentations, ensuring that our designs exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and manage architectural projects from initiation through completion.
• Evaluate the environmental impact of designs and strive for green certifications.
• Engage with community members for feedback on designs for public projects.
• Maintain project documentation and records for future reference.
• Train and mentor junior design team members.
• Implement quality control measures throughout the design and construction processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Postgraduate degree in Architecture or Design is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in architecture

Technical Skills

• SketchUp
• Building Information Modeling (BIM)

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Collaboration

Certifications

• Professional Membership with a relevant institution

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with community engagement in design: Ability to conduct workshops and interact with community for public designs.
• Proficiency in additional languages: Knowledge of Afrikaans or Xhosa is beneficial.
