Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will be involved in the full cycle of engineering projects, engaging directly with clients and ensuring optimal performance of products. The ideal candidate should have substantial knowledge of mechanical systems and a passion for innovative design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize mechanical designs using CAD software.
• Work with project managers to deliver projects on time.
• Perform quality assessments and system evaluations.
• Implement cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Document engineering processes and make recommendations for improvement.
• Conduct research and studies to support project documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers for materials and components.
• Support the development of quality control procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineering License preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design or related field
