Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will be involved in the full cycle of engineering projects, engaging directly with clients and ensuring optimal performance of products. The ideal candidate should have substantial knowledge of mechanical systems and a passion for innovative design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate project requirements and establish engineering specifications.
• Liaise with clients to confirm their needs and requirements.
• Develop solutions to production problems and improve efficiency.
• Implement changes in design as required during the project cycle.
• Provide technical support to the production team.
• Ensure the feasibility of projects through thorough assessment.
• Review engineering processes and ensure they're up to standard.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and budgets.
• Manage project timelines and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineering License preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design or related field
