Job Description

Seeking an enthusiastic IT Support Technician to enhance our tech support team in Johannesburg. You will be the first point of contact for technical assistance, troubleshooting a variety of IT issues and ensuring optimal operation of our company’s technology.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in providing technical support for software applications and other IT-related queries.
  • Manage ticketing systems and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Conduct IT training sessions for new staff members.
  • Participate in IT projects aimed at improving service delivery.
  • Maintain effective communication with users regarding support requests.
  • Perform routine maintenance on IT systems to prevent downtime.
  • Assist in developing IT policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support roles is preferred
