We're seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our vibrant team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in cloud services, particularly with AWS or Azure. Your role will involve designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure while ensuring optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate cloud service providers and manage the procurement process.
• Implement cloud governance policies to optimize resource utilization.
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architecture and processes.
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand evolving cloud requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management

Technical Skills

• GCP
• CI/CD Practices

Soft Skills

• Analytical skills
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Azure Monitor: Proficient in using monitoring tools for performance tracking.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs: Knowledge of API integration with cloud services.
