We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Tax Consultant to join our Johannesburg team. Your role will involve providing expert tax advice and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored tax solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax planning initiatives to help clients achieve their financial objectives.
• Optimize internal processes to improve efficiency in tax preparation.
• Educate clients about their tax obligations and benefits.
• Oversee compliance with all relevant tax policies and procedures.
• Track and manage deadlines for client deliverables.
• Provide insights into tax implications of business decisions.
• Engage in continuous learning to enhance tax knowledge.
• Collaborate with specialists in international tax laws as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Taxation or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Tax Legislation Knowledge
• Microsoft Excel

Certifications

• Certified Tax Advisor (CTA)
