Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs and drawings using CAD software.
• Analyze the structural integrity of current and proposed structures.
• Work with project managers to develop budgets and timelines.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Conduct research and remain updated on the latest engineering trends.
• Communicate with clients to gather project requirements.
• Implement sustainable design practices in all projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SAP2000

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) Certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Intermediate
