Logistics Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a Logistics Supervisor in Cape Town to oversee all logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing supply chain processes, optimizing transportation routes, and leading a team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct logistics operations with emphasis on quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to manage stock levels effectively.
• Evaluate and improve logistics processes for better performance.
• Ensure timely dispatch of orders while minimising shipping costs.
• Maintain high standards of service delivery for all logistics activities.
• Manage inventory reconciliation and report discrepancies.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and development planning.
• Initiate continuous communication with customers regarding delivery timelines.
• Ensure adherence to customer requirements and contractual obligations.
• Create and implement scheduled logistics training and development programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a supervisory logistics role
