Job Description

We are on the lookout for a meticulous Auditor to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a key role in executing audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and generating comprehensive reports that steer our clients' financial decisions. You will apply your accounting knowledge to detect inaccuracies and propose improvements.

Responsibilities

• Execute audits of financial records and compliance.
• Assess financial risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Compile audit documentation and reference materials.
• Present audit results and recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate with management to enhance financial reporting.
• Continuously monitor changes in regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Mentor junior staff during audit engagements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business Administration
• Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting is preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in auditing or relevant financial position

• Regulatory Knowledge

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA)
• CISA certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
