We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, a meticulous eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. As part of our Finance team, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
• Oversee payroll and related tax filings.
• Coordinate with IT for financial software improvements.
• Facilitate training for accounting staff.
• Actively participate in financial strategy discussions.
• Track performance metrics for company financial health.
• Communicate financial opportunities and risks effectively.
• Supervise junior accounting staff as necessary.
• Gather and analyze data to support financial decisions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in financial roles, with a focus on compliance and reporting
