Job Description

As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing construction projects in Durban. This role involves coordinating with subcontractors, managing teams, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Your expertise will ensure that projects meet deadlines and budget requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the overall construction process from inception to completion.
• Ensure that work is completed according to project specifications and contract requirements.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets, adjusting as necessary to achieve objectives.
• Prepare and submit reports on project progress, issues, and risks to senior management.
• Coordinate with city officials and inspection agencies as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience managing construction projects

Technical Skills

• Risk Management
• Scheduling Software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)

Certifications
