A Dead Mail Checker is responsible for ensuring that all undelivered emails are processed and resolved in a timely and accurate manner. This role requires someone with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
Sort and process all returned mail
Identify and update correct recipient or sender information
Attempt to deliver mail again
Investigate and resolve any recurring issues with failed deliveries
Recommend solutions to improve processes and reduce undeliverable items
Advantageous
Experience with email marketing tools: Familiarity with platforms like MailChimp for email campaigns.
Customer service experience: Prior experience in a customer-facing role is a plus.
