As the Highway Commissioner, you will oversee the planning, construction, maintenance, and operations of highways in South Africa. You will lead a team of professionals dedicated to enhancing road infrastructure and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of the road network.
Coordinate with various teams to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
Monitor compliance with environmental regulations.
Facilitate stakeholder engagement and address public concerns.
Assess highway system performance and recommend improvements.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration with contractors.
Oversee the financial management of highway infrastructure projects.

Requirements
Education
Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred
