Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive health checks and wellness exams.
• Develop treatment plans that align with best veterinary practices.
• Provide emergency care for animals in critical condition.
• Foster a compassionate and supportive environment for clients and pets.
• Conduct follow-up care and monitor recovery progress.
• Document all procedures and treatments accurately for compliance.
• Lead client consultations to answer questions about pet health.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree
• Registration with the South African Veterinary Council

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in veterinary practice
