Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, implement, and assess nursing care according to established standards.
• Provide nursing care for patients in accordance with their individual care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient inquiries and changing conditions.
• Foster a positive and productive working environment with team members.
• Maintain professional standards and respect patient confidentiality.
• Assist in patient education related to medications and health management.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to improve nursing skills.
• Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate on policy development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Registered Nursing License in South Africa

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.

Technical Skills

• IV Therapy
• Wound Care

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Leadership

Certifications

• BLS for Healthcare Providers
• ACLS Provider

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with electronic health record systems: Familiar with EHR systems for managing patient information.
• Certification in Infection Control: Knowledge of infection control protocols and best practices.
