We are searching for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in Cape Town. Ideal candidates will possess strong clinical skills and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. As a Registered Nurse, you will assess patient needs, plan and implement care plans, and collaborate with healthcare teams to promote health and wellness in our community.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments to determine nursing needs.
• Administer treatments and medications accurately as per protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care procedures.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all aspects of patient care in electronic health records.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and families.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
• Train and mentor junior nurses and nursing assistants.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Registered Nursing License in South Africa

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.

• IV Therapy
• Wound Care

Soft Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Leadership

Certifications

• BLS for Healthcare Providers
• ACLS Provider

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with electronic health record systems: Familiar with EHR systems for managing patient information.
• Certification in Infection Control: Knowledge of infection control protocols and best practices.
