We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to become a vital part of our Cape Town team. In this role, you will engage in designing and assessing structural components for various engineering projects. Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for a variety of projects.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to develop innovative solutions.
• Perform risk assessments and feasibility studies.
• Ensure all designs comply with local regulations and standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Maintain documentation for all design calculations and project changes.
• Engage with clients to discuss project specifications and requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in structural engineering

• AutoCAD
• SAP2000
• Revit
• MATLAB
