Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Investment Banker to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial markets and possess strong analytical skills. You will be responsible for advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising strategies, ensuring that their financial goals are met efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate investment opportunities and present recommendations.
• Draft and negotiate terms of agreements and contracts.
• Direct research efforts on industry trends and competitor activities.
• Assist in capital market transactions like IPOs and restatements.
• Supervise junior analysts and provide mentorship.
• Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure proper structuring.
• Participate in client events and networking functions.
• Contribute to enhancing the firm's service offering based on market demands.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Finance or Accounting
• Master's degree in Business Administration or similar is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a financial advisory role preferred
