We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our growing medical team in Johannesburg. As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services to patients, diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions, and promoting overall wellness. Responsibilities

• Review and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Provide prescriptions and monitor patient medication adherence.
• Conduct annual health assessments and wellness examinations.
• Be on call for after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Establish a rapport with patients to foster trust and care.
• Advocate for patient health and wellbeing within the community.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in multidisciplinary teams.
• Track and follow up on patient outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Respond to patient inquiries and concerns effectively.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Family Medicine certification is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in primary care

• Diagnostic Skills

Certifications

• HPCSA Registration as a Medical Practitioner
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

• Experience in Emergency Medicine: Knowledge and skills in providing emergency medical care.
• Familiarity with Telehealth technologies: Experience using telehealth solutions for remote consultations.
