Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications and will have a strong commitment to patient care and pharmacy best practices.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions.
• Work closely with the pharmacist to ensure quality care.
• Advise patients about their medications and possible interactions.
• Keep pharmacy software updated with patient and inventory information.
• Participate in community health events and workshops.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years in pharmacy practice

Certifications
