Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering design projects from conception to completion.
• Prepare technical proposals and tenders for projects.
• Evaluate and recommend solutions for design challenges.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct site visits to supervise construction activities.
• Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for the team.
• Review and approve project drawings and specifications.
• Estimate project costs and prepare financial forecasts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Honours degree in Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in civil engineering projects

• Civil 3D

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of construction laws in South Africa: Understanding of the legislation and standards influencing civil engineering in SA.
