We're seeking a qualified Child Psychologist to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. You will provide psychological assessment and therapy for children dealing with behavioral issues, trauma, and emotional disturbances. Your expertise will help guide families and children toward improved mental health and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose psychological disorders in children.
• Foster a safe and supportive environment for therapy.
• Educate families on mental health and coping strategies.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of treatment plans.
• Advocate for child mental health awareness in the community.

Requirements

Education

• Doctorate in Psychology is preferred
• Professional registration with HPCSA

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in clinical or school settings

Technical Skills

• Psychotherapeutic Approaches
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Soft Skills

• Active Listening
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Certified Play Therapist

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
