Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Process Engineer to join our Pretoria team. This role focuses on optimizing production processes and implementing engineering solutions that enhance efficiency and safety. You will be essential in ensuring that our operations are running smoothly and productively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement process control systems for production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Lead root cause analysis for process failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor quality metrics and conduct process audits.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflows.
  • Assist in equipment specifications and procurement.
  • Support new product development, ensuring manufacturability.
  • Documentation of standard operating procedures and work instructions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years in a production or process engineering role
