Responsibilities

• Draft and review engineering schematics and project blueprints.
• Ensure efficient project execution through proactive problem-solving and resource management.
• Implement quality control measures and assess the integrity of materials used.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present project proposals and feasibility studies to stakeholders.
• Participate in public engagements to discuss project impacts and gather community feedback.

Requirements

Education

• BEng in Civil Engineering
• Postgraduate qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 6+ years in civil engineering with a focus on project delivery

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Project
• Civil 3D
• Water Resource Engineering

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Negotiation

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional
• Certified Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Knowledge of renewable energy projects: Previous involvement in renewable energy civil engineering projects.
• Familiarity with using GIS in civil engineering: Experience in leveraging GIS technology for project planning.
