Veterinarian

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to join our growing team in Kimberley. In this role, you will provide high-quality medical care to animals and collaborate with pet owners to ensure optimal health. Your expertise in diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions will be invaluable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat sick or injured animals, including performing surgeries.
• Administer medications and vaccines, and provide preventative care.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of animal welfare and veterinary practices.
• Assist in managing the clinic's day-to-day operations.
• Engage with clients to discuss their pets' healthcare needs.
• Conduct diagnostics including blood tests and imaging.
• Mentor junior staff and support staff training.
• Ensure compliance with all veterinary practices and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine)
• Postgraduate qualification in veterinary surgery is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years in a veterinary environment preferred
