Analytical Chemist

Job Description

As an Analytical Chemist, you will be responsible for conducting experiments and analyses to support product development and quality control. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in chemical analysis techniques and be adept at using laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative and qualitative chemical analyses.
• Document findings and update laboratory databases.
• Coordinate with procurement to maintain inventory of laboratory supplies.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for lab processes.
• Participate in safety audits and laboratory inspections.
• Prepare reagents and standards as required for experiments.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation for regulatory submissions.
• Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment calibration.
• Collaborate with other departments on product testing and evaluation.
• Operate analytical instruments including HPLC and GC-MS.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in analytical chemistry
