Job Description

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be involved in the design, analysis, and management of various projects while collaborating with architects and contractors to ensure strong, safe structures.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for residential and commercial buildings.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with designs and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with architects and contractors to develop project specifications.
• Prepare detailed engineering calculations and reports.
• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Evaluate and recommend materials and construction methods.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant certifications would be beneficial

Experience

• 5+ years in structural engineering, preferably in commercial projects

• Revit

Languages

• English: Fluent
