Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a motivated Civil Engineer to join our dedicated team in Bloemfontein. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing construction projects that contribute to the development of vital infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a solid grounding in engineering principles coupled with practical experience in project management and execution.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and surveys.
• Create civil engineering designs and assessments for projects.
• Facilitate relationships between clients and project teams.
• Analyze risks and create risk management plans.
• Ensure that the designs are cost-effective and practical.
• Review and approve construction methods and materials.
• Attend project meetings and present progress to management.
• Assist in the procurement of materials and resources for projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Further qualifications in project management are advantageous.

Experience

• 5+ years in the civil engineering industry

• Civil 3D

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
