We are seeking a skilled Mining Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning, development, and execution of mining projects while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of underground and surface mining operations.
• Prepare budgets and manage project costs to ensure profitability.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ensure continuous improvement in mining operations and practices.
• Monitor and analyze production metrics to drive efficiency.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to optimize equipment usage.
• Support sustainability initiatives and reduce environmental impact.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• At least 7 years of mining industry experience
