We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our passionate team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you'll focus on identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Ideal candidates will have a robust knowledge of cybersecurity protocols and a proactive approach to mitigating threats.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to fortify the organization's cybersecurity framework.
• Document security incidents and manage the incident response process.
• Conduct penetration tests and security reviews.
• Communicate security risks to stakeholders effectively.
• Assist in developing contingency plans for data recovery.
• Liaise with authorities on cybersecurity matters as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security practices and technologies.
• Engage in continuous improvement of security measures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science
• Relevant certifications preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
