Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Pharmacist who can deliver exceptional pharmaceutical care to our patients. In this role, you will oversee drug dispensing processes, support patients with their medications and contribute to public health initiatives within Pretoria.

Responsibilities

  • Review patient medication regimens for completeness and accuracy.
  • Provide advice on health management and preventative care.
  • Engage with patients to foster trust and encourage adherence to medication.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in a clinical setting.
  • Safeguard patient confidentiality and patient rights.
  • Identify and investigate medication errors and report incidents.
  • Maintain a clean and safe pharmaceutical environment.
  • Support continuous education and professional development.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Pharmaceutical Sciences are a plus.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in a retail or hospital pharmacy.
