Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Healthcare Administrator to oversee the administrative operations of our healthcare facility in Durban. In this role, you will manage staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and work to enhance patient care services and operational efficiencies within the practice.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all administrative operations in the medical facility.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards in healthcare practices.
  • Develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare reports for senior management on operational status and areas for improvement.
  • Organize and lead training sessions for staff on policy changes.
  • Implement patient care strategies that align with organizational objectives.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders and partners.
  • Supervise administrative staff and allocate duties effectively.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
  • Master's degree is advantageous
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare administration or management
