Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Landscape Architect to contribute to our exciting projects in Bloemfontein. You will leverage your design skills to create functional landscapes that are ecologically sound. This position requires excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and present design proposals effectively, ensuring that our visions align with client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative and sustainable design concepts for various projects.
• Analyze environmental impact and incorporate sustainable practices.
• Work with local authorities to obtain necessary permits.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality.
• Prepare estimates and project proposals for clients.
• Participate in community engagement activities surrounding project initiatives.
• Develop planting plans and maintenance schedules.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff and interns.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of landscape design trends and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field
• Postgraduate qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in landscape architecture

• AutoCAD
• Project Management Software

Certifications

• Certified Landscape Technician (CLT)
• Green Roof Professional (GRP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
