Job Description

As a Greens Tier worker, you will be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our organization’s green spaces. Your role will ensure that our outdoor areas are aesthetically pleasing, healthy, and environmentally sustainable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance checks on green spaces to ensure high standards.
• Assist in budget planning for landscaping projects.
• Manage and coordinate environmental projects focusing on sustainability.
• Collaborate with other departments to align goals and initiatives.
• Keep abreast of new horticultural techniques and sustainable practices.
• Report on project progress and any challenges encountered.
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Conduct training workshops for staff to enhance skills in landscaping.
• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant environmental or horticulture qualification is a plus.

Experience

• Experience in maintaining large green spaces is an advantage.
