Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Retail Manager to join our Port Elizabeth team. This role entails overseeing daily operations, leading a team of sales associates, and ensuring that our store meets its sales targets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a knack for customer service. You will be instrumental in driving sales and improving the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the store with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Develop training programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Evaluate store performance and implement improvement plans as necessary.
  • Ensure the store is visually appealing and consistent with brand standards.
  • Monitor competition and market trends to identify new opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative environment among team members.
  • Handle payroll and scheduling to align with store needs.
  • Implement strategies for meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Organize team meetings to share updates and motivate staff.
  • Work closely with marketing to drive promotional events.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Retail Management or equivalent
Experience
  • 5+ years in a retail environment with at least 2 years in a management role
