Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a conscientious Quality Assurance Analyst to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet rigorous quality standards. You will collaborate closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects as well as improve our testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and document testing frameworks to ensure software consistency.
• Develop and execute manual and automated tests for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Coordinate with developers to clarify requirements and identify testing needs.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Maintain test environments and ensure they are up-to-date.
• Lead QA efforts for specific projects ensuring deadlines are met.
• Train junior QA team members on best practices.
• Participate in sprint planning meetings to align testing activities with project timelines.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Software Testing or a related field
• Bachelor's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in quality assurance testing

• Advanced Software Testing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
