Clinical Research Associate

Job Description

As a Clinical Research Associate, you'll lead the coordination of clinical trials, working closely with investigators and study teams in Johannesburg. Your expertise will ensure adherence to protocols, contribute to data integrity, and support the advancement of medical research aimed at improving patient care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of clinical trials to ensure timely delivery of data.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including biostatistics and data management.
• Train and monitor site staff on Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare monitoring visit reports and follow up on findings.
• Assist in the development of study protocols and manuals.
• Participate in the development and implementation of quality assurance and compliance measures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in clinical research or related field
