We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Consultant to join our team in Gqeberha. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and developing strategies to minimize tax liabilities for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of the tax system.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on international tax matters for clients with global operations.
• Perform reviews and evaluations of client tax positions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information for tax planning.
• Investigate tax discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
• Build strong relationships with local tax authorities.
• Present tax planning proposals to clients, explaining potential savings.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all client interactions.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff within the taxation team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or finance-related discipline
• Master’s degree in Taxation is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years in taxation or accounting roles
